The Chestnut St. Lofts are a one of a kind in-town Portland city condo community.
This Portland, Maine condo community is built with green [sustainable] specs with concrete floors etc. Therefore the condo fees are reasonable and will likely remain that way.
The Chestnut Street Lofts are heated with natural gas.
There is a lovely roof top deck with great Southerly views toward Portlan's city hall and great Westerly views toward Portland's Back Cove.
Deeded Parking is included in a small protected lot on the South side of the condominiums. Some condo units have covered parking.
Almost all of the condo units have spectacular floor to ceiling glass windows. The views are breathtaking, especially on the upper floors.
Some condos have balcony's, most do not.
The floor plan originally came[new construction] completely with out room dividers except for the bathrooms. Most folks have put in walls of some type, some with Japanese screens.
These condos originally sold out very quickly and they do very well on resale. They usually range in price from $225-375 or so.
The condo fees are from 200-275 or so depending on the amenities and views.
The Chestnut St loft condo community has a superb, across from Merrill Auditorium and just around the corner from "555", "Grace", "Davids"and other trendy restaurants.
It is In-Town city living at it's best.
