Maine Home Sales Up 48.55% In November

SOUTH PORTLAND (December 22, 2009)-Real estate sales continue there upward climb in the state of Maine. For the sixth month in a row, Maine's single-family existing home sales rose dramatically-48.55% - comparing November 2009 to November 2008. According the Maine Real Estate Information System, Inc., the median sales price for the 1,025 homes sold during November decreased 4.88% to 164,000 comparing that same time period. The median sales price indicates that half of the homes were sold for more and half sold for less.
